Baseball
Baseball is what I was told to fill my thought
So now I am driven to utter distraught
For I have no recollection to lead me to see
How to write about what baseball might possibly be
And all though I can pull from those that are around
When it comes to the game I’m far from the ground
Where the athletics will take place with its hitting and running
I’d rather read a book that is much much more cunning
So take no offense all lovers of the sport
For I’d rather be amused by some other sort
Of rhyme or reason that brings me such joy
So I’ll leave the game to my desk neighbor boy
